Hello, my name is Kris (James Ekkart) Zieb and thank you kindly for visiting. This work began a few years ago as an exercise in giving back to the great outdoors, which has given all its gifts freely. I started this work at a difficult time in my life, I was stuck, I was in a rut, and I needed some healthy change. I had been raised with a strong family culture of giving without wanting reciprocation, and practicing stewardship for the world around you. This, and a love of fresh air, inspired me to walk out my door with a cheap camera and go to my neighborhood park. Since launching, this has blossomed into something bigger, but still has plenty of growth ahead of it.

When sold. half of all profits on this site go to targeted nature conservancy funds, with donations made in specified name and receipts given upon request <contact@jamesekkartphoto.com>. The rest goes to maintaining the site and printing materials for auction.

To date over a thousand dollars have been raised for various charities both directly and through art auctions. Please feel free to reach out for collaboration inquiries or custom print orders. Remember, leave it better than you found it!
